Middle School Math Teacher
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our middle school team and teach three sections of pre-algebra. The successful candidate will:
Instructional Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and effective pre-algebra instruction aligned with adopted standards.
Develop students’ algebraic thinking and problem-solving skills, fostering critical mathematical proficiencies.
Implement teaching strategies that emphasize conceptual understanding and require students to show all work, prohibiting calculator reliance.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide timely feedback.
Classroom Management and Collaboration:
Establish and maintain a positive and Christ-like classroom environment where students are held accountable for their behavior, homework, and in-class assignments. Collaborate effectively with middle school team members on various school-related responsibilities.
Demonstrate flexibility and a strong spirit of teamwork.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or professional experience credit equivalent
Minimum of 2 years teaching or student teaching experience
Hold or be able to obtain a valid teacher license by the State of Tennessee

Technology Teacher & IT Coordinator
St. Mary’s School is a Catholic, Cognia-accredited school with over 170 students from Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade. St. Mary’s is currently accepting applications for a technology teacher and IT coordinator position for the 2025-2026 school year.
PURPOSE OF POSITION: St. Mary’s Catholic School is seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to serve as both a Technology Teacher and IT Coordinator. This dual role is essential for fostering technological literacy in our K-8th grade students while ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our campus-wide technology infrastructure. The successful candidate will be passionate about integrating technology into education and possess strong technical and problem-solving skills. As the on-site first responder for technical issues and the point of contact for our managed IT solution (TUC), the IT Coordinator will play a crucial role in maintaining our technology resources and supporting the technology needs of both the school and church.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Education, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Demonstrated experience teaching technology to elementary and middle school students.
* Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and networking fundamentals.

* Experience managing online databases and technology inventories.

Aftercare Director and Assistants
St. Mary’s School is a Catholic, Cognia-accredited school with over 170 students from pre-kindergarten through 8th grade. St. Mary’s is currently accepting applications for an Aftercare Director and assistants for the 2025-2026 school year.
PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Aftercare Director is responsible for the overall operation of the SMS after-school program, overseeing staff, planning age-appropriate activities, ensuring student safety, maintaining communication with parents and teachers, and managing the daily schedule to provide a structured and enriching experience for students outside of regular school hours; essentially acting as the primary leader and decision-maker for the aftercare program. The aftercare assistants support the aftercare program, working closely with the aftercare director maintaining a faith filled atmosphere, helping the students with homework, and maintaining a safe environment.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
A high school diploma is required
Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred

Instructional Assistant

PURPOSE OF POSITION: The responsibility of the Instructional Assistant is to work closely with the teacher to maintain an effective classroom environment. He/She will strive to provide opportunities for students to be prepared for life in today’s Church and society by promoting positive behavior and supporting the whole child.

Substitute Teacher
Substitute teachers are responsible for upholding the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of the school. In this role, individuals are responsible for carrying out the teacher’s lesson plans, managing discipline, and collaborating with the staff.
