Aftercare Director and Assistants
St. Mary’s School is a Catholic, Cognia-accredited school with over 170 students from pre-kindergarten through 8th grade. St. Mary’s is currently accepting applications for an Aftercare Director and assistants for the 2025-2026 school year.
PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Aftercare Director is responsible for the overall operation of the SMS after-school program, overseeing staff, planning age-appropriate activities, ensuring student safety, maintaining communication with parents and teachers, and managing the daily schedule to provide a structured and enriching experience for students outside of regular school hours; essentially acting as the primary leader and decision-maker for the aftercare program. The aftercare assistants support the aftercare program, working closely with the aftercare director maintaining a faith filled atmosphere, helping the students with homework, and maintaining a safe environment.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
A high school diploma is required
Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred

Middle School Spanish Teacher
St. Mary’s School is a Catholic, Cognia-accredited school with over 170 students from pre-kindergarten through 8th grade. St. Mary’s is currently accepting applications for a Spanish Teacher position in the 2025-2026 school year.
PURPOSE OF POSITION: A part-time Spanish teacher is responsible for delivering engaging Spanish language instruction to 6th, 7th and 8th grade students on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, focusing on developing conversational skills, grammar, vocabulary, and cultural understanding through lesson plans tailored to the student’s level, while monitoring progress and providing feedback on their language acquisition journey; this includes preparing and delivering lessons, grading assignments, and maintaining student records within the designated teaching schedule.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
Job Requirements: Preferred to have a teaching degree or working on a teaching degree. Applicants must have a BS/BA in a related field.

Instructional Assistant
St. Mary’s School is a Catholic, Cognia-accredited school with over 170 students from Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade. St. Mary’s is currently accepting applications for an Elementary Instructional Assistant position for the 2025-2026 school year.
PURPOSE OF POSITION: The responsibility of the Instructional Assistant is to work closely with the teacher to maintain an effective classroom environment. He/She will strive to provide opportunities for students to be prepared for life in today’s Church and society by promoting positive behavior and supporting the whole child.

Substitute Teacher
Substitute teachers are responsible for upholding the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of the school. In this role, individuals are responsible for carrying out the teacher’s lesson plans, managing discipline, and collaborating with the staff.
