PE Uniform

Grades K thru 4th: Students in Kindergarten thru 4th grades are not required to wear PE uniforms. However, tennis shoes are required to be worn by all students. If a student does not wear tennis shoes on their scheduled PE day, they will not be allowed to participate. It is also recommended that girls wear shorts underneath their jumpers.

Grades 5th thru 8th Boys & Girls:

Plain white T-shirt (no SMS logo required) or SMS Booster Club T-shirt
Plain navy blue lightweight gym shorts or SMS Booster Club gym shorts (during winter uniform months, students may wear plain navy blue sweatpants)
Tennis shoes (required). If a student does not wear tennis shoes, student will not be allowed to participate in PE

Uniform Recycling Program

If you wish to donate items during the school year, please drop them off at the School Office. Please contact Michelle Burns at 423/926-8748 with any uniform requests, questions, or to donate 'gently used' uniform pieces. All proceeds go to support the Adopt-A-Student fund.
