Summer Children's Portrait Special: Emily Hand, a Photography major graduate at Milligan College and current Seminary student at Emmanuel School of Religion is taking child portraits this summer!  She works for the Wright family (Marie Wright, 1st grade) and you may contact Helen Wright for more information.  Emily's phone # is 937-726-1341 or email her at hand.emily@gmail.com.    
       

St. Mary's Vacation Bible School: St. Mary's Vacation Bible School will be held on June 21-25 from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.  All children in grades Kindergarten thru 5th are welcome.  We also would love teen and adult volunteers!  The theme this year is "High Seas Expedition" so get ready to explore the mighty love of God!  Registration forms are at the school entrance.  Check out the document attached to today's Family Bulletin or contact Meredith Miller for more information at MLMPJM5@embarqmail.com.

   
       
Scrip Order News:   Our last scrip order for the year was placed on Wednesday, May 19th!  Thank you for another wonderful year of support!  Leslie Knapp will be glad to assist you with any Scrip questions or click on the following link to download a Scrip Order form and to find out more about this wonderful fundraising opportunity for our school Scrip Program.    
       
Uniform Sale:  Please bring used uniforms to the school.  There are tables in front of the library for drop-off.  Sale ends Friday!

 

    
       
Tree Street Yard Sale: Rising 8th graders will be having a sale in August during the Tree Street Yard Sale.  Storage space is available over the summer.  To make donations, call Michelle Burns at 747-2497.    
       
Report Cards: Remember that all school obligations must be paid before report cards will be mailed home or records will be mailed to another school.   A final statement will be mailed in early June.  Please call the school office if you have any questions.  Thank you!    
       
Book Fees for 2010-2011 School: The book fees of $300 per student are due now.  Please call the school office if you need an extension.   Thank you!    
       
Johnson City Parks & Rec Summer Tennis Program: Registration is held May 24-28 at the Liberty Bell Tennis Center.  The six-week program begins June 1st and runs through July 9th.  For more information call 283-5822.    
       
Tutoring for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Grade: First, second, and third grade tutoring is available through Mrs. Michele O'Hare.  Please contact Mrs. O'Hare at 461-3151.

Summer Help: Need help this summer?  Elizabeth Jones, former St. Mary's student (and daughter of our Mrs. Jones), is available for childcare and tutoring this summer.  She graduated from Science Hill with a 4.0 and is studying engineering at Clemson University.  She is available as early as May 3rd, and you may reach her at 423-202-4007 or EJONES3@clemson.edu.      
         
Parent's Night Out: Want a parent's night out?  I can take care of the children!  My name is Rita Basconi and I am a St. Mary's School graduate.  I am writing to offer my services as a babysitter, pet sitter, etc.  I have experience with children and love pets.  Last year I worked with preschoolers over the summer for my Girl Scout Gold Award project.  I go to Elizabethton High School and play tennis.  I will be 17 in May and can drive.  You can reach me on my cell phone at 423-483-7758 or on our land line at 423-929-2081.  Please don't hesitate to call; I'm looking forward to hearing from you!  References available.

Bulletin Deadline

The weekly bulletin is distributed every Tuesday. Information may be dropped off at the School Office throughout the week. Please print your announcement clearly and note the date(s) it should run in the Bulletin. Information may be dropped off at the School Office, faxed to (423) 282-0224, or e-mailed to Randi McKee at rm7350@yahoo.com. We will make every effort to publish all items of interest submitted by the deadline. Unfortunately, due to size limitations, we cannot guarantee placement. Deadline for receipt of information is the Monday prior to the publication date.
