Welcome to 3rd Grade - a year of learning, friends, and fun!

Parents, please check your student's daily planner and the weekly progress and class news to find out what's happening in 3rd Grade.

Supply List for School Year 2010-2011

Please do not substitute or bring additional supplies. Please do not bring the trapper keepers or notebooks as there is not enough desk or storage space for these large notebooks and we do not use them in 3rd grade.

Twelve #2 pencils (if mechanical, must be disposable) Two Pink Pearl erasers
One box of crayons One pack of 8 count washable Crayola markers
Two dry erase markers One pack of colored pencils
One pair of scissors (Fiskars) One large glue stick
One pack of notebook paper (Wide-ruled) One composition notebook (Wide-ruled)
One container of Clorox Wipes Three large boxes of Kleenex tissues (one labeled "Specials")
Five book covers for textbooks (large size) One bottle of hand sanitizer
One zippered pencil bag (to hold pencils, scissors, crayons, etc.) One watercolor paint set (Prang or Crayola)
Three two-pocket folders (1 green)      
Please do not send Trappers or looseleaf notebooks - these  
do not fit in desk or cubbies.  Thank you!  

I strongly recommend the use of rolling backpacks because I am concerned about back injuries with the traditional backpack.

Please put your child's name on tool box, crayons, markers, scissors, glue sticks, and especially clothing.
